Pastor Brandon and Pastor Chris,

Well, first I want to say that I will be sharing what is written below as my topic during class when it’s my turn to present. It will be tweaked some, but basically this will be it.

Sooooo here is my response to what this school has meant to and done for me:

_______________________

How and where do I begin?

My heart was initially stirred with a desire to study God’s Word further during the first year after my late husband passed away.

My relationship with the Lord and my unwavering trust in Him had been tested by fire.

God’s faithfulness to me had been so deeply revealed during that time, as well as all during those 36 preceding months!

I knew that I was still alive, still breathing, not for my own sake, but because He had a plan for me.

That plan was absolutely about leading lost souls to salvation through Him. Being His hands and feet and voice. Being salt and light!

I initially thought about going out to Oklahoma to attend Rhema. But that wasn’t a viable option. Not that He couldn’t have made it possible.

But God! Oh my! During times that John and I were spending  together. During conversations and texting. I had shared my desire to go to Bible School with him.

So John was very excited the morning Pastor Gary shared the news of Word of Life being established here at church.

There was no doubt in my heart that this, for me at least, was God’s answer to my desire!

And He didn’t stop with just me. John had also desired to learn. His vision for us as a couple, when eventually months later we would become husband and wife, was that God intended to partner us in ministry for His Kingdom!

And what an answer it has been. Well beyond what I had imagined. The depth He and His Word, and His chosen teachers have led me to! I always knew learning of Him would never be complete. And it never will!

John and I fully believe that God will use us to His Glory.

But I’m already thankful for the opportunities God has placed before me in sending people across my path. How humbling it is to be of use by and for Him.

It’s one thing to have been so blessed by what He has revealed to me through the teachings in this class. But to be able to bless another with a piece of knowledge from His Word! And to physically feel the peace it brought to them, just as I felt it in my spirit when He brought it to me, and in one particular instance, to our entire class.

God is awesome! God is amazing. God is faithful. God is worthy of my all!

In Christ’s Love, and With Thanksgiving for You Both,
